Sandra Dee, who rose to fame for her girl next door roles of Tammy and Gidget in the 1960s has died at the age of 62. Dee was once married to singer Bobby Darin. She passed away from complications of kidney disease after being hospitalized for two weeks. Dee was on dialysis for four years.
