TV chef Emeril Lagasse and his wife, Alden, just became parents for the second time. The baby girl was named Meril Lovelace Lagasse weighed in at 5 pounds, 13 ounces. The name Meril comes from both Emeril (without the E) and Lovelace is Alden’s maiden name. Little Meril joins little E.J. (Emeril John Lagasse IV), the couple’s other child.
