Charlies Angels star Drew Barrymore and mother Jaid Barrymore have reportedly patched things up.
The two hadn’t been speaking in several years, but according to Jaid, things recently got better after she sent her daughter a book about spiritual guidance. She told the New York Daily News that upon receiving the book, Drew was so touched that she phoned her mom and made up.
Jaid, who also says she was invited to Drew’s summer wedding with comedian Tom Green, has made headlines for her eccentric behavior. Earlier this year, she was brought up on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief. Her lawyer argued that the reason she had the weapon was because she had been mugged in a subway two days earlier and thrown down a flight of stairs. The judge released her on her own recognizance.
