R&B singer John Legend, Alicia Keys and Destiny’s Child were big winners at the BET Awards. Legend was named best new artist, Destiny’s Child was named best group, Alicia Keys won for female R&B artist. Jamie Foxx won the award for best actor, Denzel Washington and wife Pauletta were honored with a humanitarian award and Gladys Knight received a lifetime achievement honor.
