NBC has tapped Dennis Hopper for its pilot “E-Ring,” The drama is a behind the scenes glimpse at what happens at the Pentagon. Hopper, who is best known for roles in “Easy Rider” and “Apocalypse Now,” is set to star as a military colonel who is a career soldier.
