O.J FURIOUS WITH BROTHER FOR MAKING HIM ‘LOOK BAD’

Talk about a hypocrite! O.J. Simpson is furious with his brother for making him look bad — by being involved in an accident that killed a woman.

The disgraced football hero, who stood trial for murdering his wife and her friend, wasn’t even concerned that his 58- year-old brother Melvin ended up injured and covered in blood.

“O.J. was concerned only about his own image,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.

The tragedy occurred on February 11 as O.J.’s older brother drove a shuttle bus packed with passengers between the airport and downtown San Francisco.

Suddenly the bus veered off the road and hit a guardrail before piling into a concrete support column.

Passenger Lynne de Matties, who’d flown in from Phoenix for a Valentine’s Day weekend vacation, was thrown out and killed instantly.

“Music was playing and the driver had been very nice,” passenger Chris Losee told The ENQUIRER.

“Suddenly we crashed, people were screaming — and the lady sitting next to me was thrown out the window and died. I was pinned under the seat in front.

“I’ve never seen so much blood in my life. One person lost two fingers.

“It was a traumatic experience. We’re blessed to be alive.”

Before police arrived, Chris saw driver Simpson covered in blood.

“He was in shock like everyone else,” she said. “He kept saying, ‘I’m so sorry.’ “

Police believe Melvin, who’d been suffering flu-like symptoms and was nearly eight hours into his shift, fell asleep at the wheel.

Melvin voluntarily gave a blood sample for alcohol and drug testing, but police don’t suspect he was under the influence, said California Highway Patrol investigator Shawn Chase.

Later, the distraught driver said, “Nobody could be more sorry. The accident was awful — I’m still in shock.”

But Melvin was getting no sympathy from his famous brother.

“O.J. is furious with him,” the insider told The ENQUIRER.

“O.J. is so selfish — it’s truly remarkable that he sees everything in terms of how it affects him. Even though it was an accident, O.J. blames Melvin for bringing down more negative publicity on him. He told a friend, ‘It makes me look bad!’ “
