NEW LEAD IN JONBENET MURDER

description

Four months after John Mark Karr was released in the killing of JonBenet Ramsey, a retired Colorado homicide detective says he has a new lead.

Lou Smit, a former investigator and expert on the case, said that a rope found in a room next to JonBenet’s could point to the little beauty queen’s killer.

But, in a dramatic disclosure, Smit told an interviewer that the potentially crucial piece of evidence has never been tested! He also said the rope “does not belong to the Ramseys. I know that for a fact.”

The rope was in a bedroom next to JonBenet’s room, where Smit believes her killer hid until her family went to sleep on Christmas night 1996. The fiend then emerged from hiding and took JonBenet to a basement room where he strangled her with a rope and caved in her skull.
