Yikes. A Pennsylvania woman died on Monday, April 22 after she fell into a meat grinder.
While working at Economy Locker Storage Co, Jill Greninger lost her life while after falling inside the commercial meat grinder at the Pennsylvania plant.
According to Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr., she was standing on steps on wheels when she tragically fell.
Kiessling told Williamsport Sun-Gazette that it was unclear if she was “reaching for something in the grinder, which was about six feet off the ground.”
Fortunately, nobody witnessed the gruesome fall. “This was a horrible accident,” Kiessling noted.
After an employee heard the chilling noise, they went over to the grinder to find Greninger’s body inside. By the time first responders arrived, she was already dead and it took the firefighters 45 minutes to uncover her wounded body.
