After The ENQUIRER revealed yesterday the U.S.NAVY had launched a trademark salvo against WALT DISNEY in a trademark battle over the use of “Seal Team 6’, the special ops counterterrorism unit that made Osama bin Laden one dead dude, Disney has backed up of its trademark filing.
Disney has withdrawn its application, the Navy confirmed.
"The Navy is committed to fully protecting our trademark rights as it pertains to this matter and will continue to examine all our legal options," Navy spokesperson Amanda Greenberg told media.
Media and legal pundits had criticized Disney’s attempt to trademark “Seal Team 6” was nothing less than corporate greed of the highest magnitude.
