The Village People Were Faking It

It takes a village to lip-sync a hit song!

Victor Willis, better known as the cop from the iconic ’70s pop group The Village People, has accused his bandmates of faking their songs ahead of a cable movie based on his life!

The former Village People lead singer, now 64, left the group in the early ’80s and never looked back — until now.

Victor is dishing some wild facts, too — and claims that some members of the campy band didn’t actually sing!

Victor, who holds 50 percent copyright to 13 tunes including “YMCA,” hasn’t named names.

He dropped the bombshell while plugging a Lifetime movie set to air in 2016 — and his new single, “Follow Through.”
