VAL KILMER: MONTHS TO LIVE!

VAL KILMER – a devout Christian Scientist battling a potentially fatal throat tumor – may have just months to live, sources told The National ENQUIRER exclusively.

The 55-year-old “Batman Forever” star was found coughing up blood by terrified loved ones on Jan. 26. He was quickly rushed to a California hospital where doctors reportedly found the tumor.

If Val’s tumor is malignant, as symptoms suggest, he’s most likely gone beyond the ability of medical science to cure him, experts disclosed to The ENQUIRER.

“Without a doubt, Val could be in the last year of his life,” Dr. Sue Decotiis, who has not treated Val, told The ENQUIRER. “The fact that he ignored this is really a shame.”

Doctors at UCLA Medical Center reportedly conducted emergency “invasive” surgery to clear enough of the tumor in Val’s throat so he could breathe.

His rep confirmed that Val “is currently undergoing tests at a Los Angeles hospital for a possible tumor. [He] is being cared for by his two children, Mercedes, 23, and son Jack, who is 19.”

But the medical crisis may have been avoided if Val had not stubbornly insisted prayer would heal him after he learned about the tumor last summer, sources revealed.

Instead, Val covered the swelling neck tumor with scarves, as he did at a basketball game in January.

The ENQUIRER recently reported on Val’s skeletal frame, quoting weight loss expert Dr. Decotiis: “Oh, my God! This is crazy! If he walked into my room, I’d be doing all sorts of tests.”

At the time, the “Tombstone” star claimed he’d shed weight for his upcoming portrayal of author Mark Twain, a famously thin man.

Now it seems Val still refuses to acknowledge the severity of his condition. On Jan. 31, he posted on Facebook: “Again, no tumor, no surgery … will stay close to my doctors advising, my family and Christian Science practitioner when all the facts are in.”
