So-called Teen Bride COURTNEY STODDEN’s hubby under fire as new show EXPLODES in controversy!
Courtney and her husband Doug Hutchison discover reality TV is less about exploring the nature of their narcissistic May-December relationship but more about manufactured hoopla as they go on the defensive after mounting attacks on set.
Because “reality” shows need their DRAH-MA the Teen Bride and her husband are definitely helping bring it on Couples Therapy where they're battling with The Dirty founder Nik Richie, RadarOnline.com reported.
"After Nik called Doug a child molester for marrying Courtney when she was only 16, Doug was furious with him," a show insider revealed.
"Doug threatened to kick Nik's ass after he tried to insult him."
Courtney and Doug celebrated their one year anniversary in May and have been criticized for their exploitative tabloid-y coupling but the show insider said that Doug had to defend himself and his wife against the "uncalled for remarks."
"People on set said that Doug got mad when he heard Nik making fun of Courtney and didn't want to let him get away with it."
The source said Doug called Nik "pathetic," and guess what? DRAH-MA!
