SOFIA VERGARA isn’t so “modern” that she’s comfortable with a male stripper in the family!
So the “Modern Family” star’s snubbing fiancé Joe Manganiello’s return to getting naked in “Magic Mike XXL!”
“She knows that kind of thing comes with the territory, but she’s not happy about Joe making the sequel,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER. “Sofia’s made it very clear she isn’t going to watch the movie!”
Joe teamed up again with star Channing Tatum for the follow-up to the 2012 hit “Magic Mike,” where the “True Blood” hunk first hit the big screen in the role of Big Dick Richie.
“Now Sofia has Joe in full domestic damage control over some of the more passionate scenes in the sequel,” the source said. “It’s pretty funny to watch him falling all over himself to stay on her good side.
“Joe’s already talking about what he’s going to have to do – buying flowers, making a nice home-cooked dinner – when the movie comes out in theaters.”
The 38-year-old actor confirmed those rumors when asked if Sofia, 42, was comfortable with ladies ogling her man at the multiplex.
“No, she’s Colombian,” said Joe. “She’s gonna kill everybody. She’s very protective in that way – which is so cute, you know.”
But in her defense, Joe confessed he feels the same way about Sofia stripping down on-screen – and added that his future bride won’t be hiring any strippers for her bachelorette party!
“There better not be another guy,” Joe blustered. “If you’re marrying Big Dick Richie, he better be the stripper!”
