The once potent putter has been hired as a TV pitchman for a Japanese body heat rub used to relieve muscle and joint pain.
The Nagoya-based Kowa Company says it “is pleased to announce the use of Tiger Woods … as the image character of Antiphlogistic Analgetic Vantelin Kowa series.”
Tiger’s TV ads will debut nationally in Japan mid-July.
Woods has not played professional golf since May 12, when he withdrew after nine pitiful holes from The Players Championship, suffering from knee and Achilles injuries.
