Two time Oscar winner Sean Penn charged with battery and vandalism from a fight last fall.
Penn will be arraigned next month for the dustup with a pap who got the short end of Penn’s wrath.
LA city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan told AP that Penn kicked a photog and that the pap’s snapper was also damaged.
The incident was caught on tape and played repeatedly on a celeb-centric site.
It’s not the first time the actor-director has been in trouble with the law.
In 1987 he received a 60 day jail sentence for punching an extra who tried to kiss his then-missus Madonna when lensing the film Colors.
