Xenu all righty, free at last LEAH REMINI promises DWTS payback on Thetan enhanced ex-pal!

Leah is finally free of her Scientology shackles, and she’s ready to kick up her heels on the new season of “Dancing with the Stars". And the 43-year-old actress, who split from the controversial church in July, has just one goal in mind as she joins the reality dance competition – beating her ex-best friend Kirstie Alley!

The “Fat Actress” star, 62, is a two-time “DWTS” vet, taking second place in spring 2011 and seventh place last fall.

In early July, Leah – who’s best known for her role on TV’s “The King of Queens” – announced she was leaving the cult-like Scientology religion because she disagreed with some of the church’s practices and policies.

The rift began when Leah questioned the absence of Scientology leader David Miscavige’s wife Shelly. She later reportedly filed a missing person report to LAPD, although LAPD found Shelly and closed the case.

Until then, she and Kirstie – a devout Scientologist – had been close pals. But Kirstie lashed out on Twitter after Leah’s announcement. In a cryptic July 10 message, Kirstie tweeted about losing someone she “thought was my friend” and then adding, “f*** ’em.”

“Kirstie can be very vicious when she’s angry,” a source noted. “And she gets really angry when someone says something negative about Scientology.

“She believes Leah is betraying everything they stand for and that she is going to hell.”

Now Leah is out for revenge – and she’s going to do it on the dance floor.

But at the same time, Leah is worried that an estimated 3.5 million members of Scientology, at the direction of Miscavige, may try to launch a campaign against her. And if THAT happens, she will struggle to get past the first week.

“Scientologists are known for trying to ‘get even’ with people who defy the church – and right now Leah is Public Enemy #1,” said the source.

“Leah is going to work her butt off to get the dances perfect – but she’s also worried all of this may be for nothing!”

Added a family friend: “Kirstie probably will be voting against Leah too.”

Recently, The ENQUIRER ran a cover story on the Church of Scientology’s New Mexico facility. According to a church spokesperson: “The subject of the article is an archive belonging to the Church of Spiritual Technology. The Scientology Church cares for the long-term preservation of L. Ron Hubbard’s writings and lectures.”

The spokesperson added: “The facility in New Mexico is an archival storage site containing preservation copies of Mr. Hubbard’s writings and lectures. No parishioner files, celebrity or otherwise, have ever been found or were ever located at the New Mexico facility.”

Although a local police chief inspected the facility, the spokesperson notes: “The Church has always maintained good relations with the local community, including law enforcement personnel who have been invited to the property for goodwill visits.”
