And Hollywood gossips are wondering if her sexy new look is aimed at putting the romance back in her life and maybe even helping her hook a hubby.
The actress has seemingly largely been off the dating scene since her world came crashing down in 2010. That’s when her husband of four years, Jesse James, was caught cheating with tattooed model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee.
But now, a friend says the emotional wounds have healed and Sandra’s looking stylish and sexy.
“She sees Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston and others looking almost half their age and she wants to amp things up, big-time,” revealed a close source.
“She wants to feel sexy and confident.”
To help her reach her goals, the Oscar winner recently hired high-powered Elizabeth Stewart, who has fast become the most sought-after stylist in Hollywood, counting Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts and Jessica Chastain among her A-list clients.
The source believes Elizabeth will help Sandra stand out from the crowd on and off the red carpet.
“She’ll be trying out sleek new designs that will celebrate her curves, plus she’s likely to experiment with some bold new hairstyles,” the close source divulged.
Lately, the actress has been super-pumped by the blockbuster success of her buddy movie, “The Heat,” in which she plays an uptight senior FBI agent opposite “Bridesmaids” sensation Melissa McCarthy.
“Sandra is ready to move forward with a new chapter in her life,” said the source.
