Fading film star Ryan Phillippe is still a hit with the ladies — and now he’s engaged to the law student that he’s been dating for four years!
The ex-husband of Reese Witherspoon, 39, began dating Paulina Slagter when the Stanford law student was 20 years old.
Paulina’s set to graduate next year, and she’ll be heading straight into the Hollywood lifestyle with her new husband — after Ryan proposed to her in Miami on Christmas!
Ryan also seems determined to have his hot new bride help him focus on some very serious things.
“I’m very involved in civil rights issues,” he recently told Howard Stern, “and so to be with a woman who could actually make an impact in the legal realm — that’s a beautiful thing!”
The couple hasn’t announced plans for a family, but Ryan already has a 4-year-old daughter from his relationship with actress Alexis Knapp, who’s 15 years younger than Reese’s former husband.
