Spunky Regis Philbin is cooking up a comeback, and the 88-year-old TV legend wants Susan Lucci to join him, sources exclusively snitched to The National ENQUIRER.

The retired daytime yakker — who spent decades with ABC — has reached out to the 72-year-old soap opera diva to resurrect their nightclub act, which was a hit with fans from 2002 to 2011, insiders dished.

“Regis misses being on-stage!” a source squealed. “And he says he never had a better performing partner than Susan.”

After All My Children star Susan largely retired from live shows, Regis continued the act with longtime buddy Don Rickles. But the insult comic’s devastating death in 2017 left him without a stage partner.

Regis had reached out to his former Live! sidekick 66-year-old Kathie Lee Gifford — who’s fresh off an 11-year stretch at Today — but she turned him down, sources reported.

“Kathie Lee just started her new life in Nashville and wasn’t ready to go right back out on the road,” the insider snitched.

So Regis is focusing on getting La Lucci back on-stage with him, according to sources.

But the actress is only a year removed from heart surgery. Though she’s feeling better, she has yet to commit to rejoining Reege on the road.

Still, insiders believe, it may just be a matter of time before she caves to his endless advances.

“Susan hasn’t said yes yet, but Regis is convinced he can wear his old friend down!” said another source.
