Rumer Willis is on the verge of a nervous breakdown, freaking out over high expectations created by her “Dancing with the Stars” victory, The National ENQUIRER has learned.
The 27-year-old is preparing for a lead role in the Broadway musical “Chicago” and crumpling under the pressure.
“Rumer’s been a disaster in rehearsals,” dished an insider.
“Sure, she knows how to dance. But taking on the starring role in a major production is way beyond anything she’s ever done before.”
Though Rumer’s rep denied any problems, pals are troubled by her behavior offstage.
“Rumer has been crying and suffering panic attacks!” said a source. “She just can’t cope. Everyone is wondering if she’ll quit – or get fired!”
Meanwhile, mom Demi Moore is terrified for her daughter.
“The last thing Demi wants is for Rumer to suffer the same sort of collapse she went through when Ashton Kutcher dumped her,” added the insider.
