Rachael Ray’s TV Show May Be Dropped

Chopped! After 10 seasons, “The Rachael Ray Show” is getting the axe, an insider has claimed to The National ENQUIRER.

“Rachael has worked very hard, but there’s no hope for saving her show — it’s toast,” the source told The ENQUIRER.

The upbeat TV cook, 47, was rumored to be on the chopping block last year after gaining weight and losing viewers who complained about her constant chatter. She hasn’t been able to find a winning recipe to lure former fans back to the program, the spy said.

Though the network denied the cancellation, an insider said: “She’s been secretly told by her bosses at CBS Television that her syndicated cooking and gabfest show will not be renewed because her ratings have fallen off drastically over the past two seasons.”

The show averaged about 2.6 million viewers daily after debuting in 2006, making it a highly ranked daytime show.

But the number of viewers has dropped to a meager 1.2 million over the last two years. The source said the 2015–16 season will be its last.

“Rachael knows that the end is near for her show, but she’s trying not to let it bother her,” said the insider.

Two months ago, Rachael and husband John Cusimano celebrated their 10th anniversary by renewing their vows in Italy — but that’s the only renewal Rachael will get this year!
