Patrick Stewart is beaming onboard a new “Star Trek” series — after CBS reportedly offered him a staggering $16 million for just three months work!
The National ENQUIRER reported in June that the star of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” had gotten the big-bucks offer for a related project.
Now the 77-year-old actor has gone to the Las Vegas “Star Trek” Convention to confirm that he’s reprising his role as Capt. Jean-Luc Picard character n a new show — after claims of a deal that pays him three times what he earned for the big-screen “Star Trek: First Contact!”
The project for the CBS All Access streaming service “will tell the story of the next chapter of Picard’s life,” picking up from far after the original series — featuring William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy — blasted off to the airwaves.

Patrick could be looking at a $2 million per episode paycheck, claimed a source, which “basically guarantees he’ll be able to live out his life in luxury.”
Plus, added the insider, his new work hours would “allow lots of quality time with [his wife] Sunny.”
The series will film in Los Angeles, and “he’ll be able to be home with Sunny by late afternoon!”
