Nicole Kidman publicly humiliated her ex Tom Cruise by confessing her divorce from the pint-sized actor was one of the best things she’s ever done!
While on stage at London’s Women in the World conference, the 48-year-old Australian told a stunned audience that her 2001 bust-up boosted her career — and helped her find true love with current hubby Keith Urban.
“I was running from my life at that time,” said Nicole about splitting from Tom.
“I wasn’t able to handle the reality of it, and as an actor you have this wonderful thing where you can go and get lost in somebody else’s life.
“Out of my divorce came work that was applauded, so that was an interesting thing for me.”
As reported by The ENQUIRER, Nicole’s cruel jab at former husband Tom comes on top of Leah Remini’s recent embarrassing expose of the Scientologist’s bizarre secret life in her new book “Troublemaker.”
The ENQUIRER also recently revealed to the world how Nicole wasn’t even invited to the recent wedding of her daughter Isabella — because Scientology demands that non-believer Nicole be banned as a “Suppressive Person.”
Nicole can still take some comfort in her 2003 win at the Academy Award for Best Actress “The Hours.”
But Nicole admitted that what should have been her most triumphant moment was actually the lowest point in her life.
