Pals fear that a boozy OWEN WILSON may be in dire straits despite multiple attempts to stay sober after a suicide bid – sources.

The party is back on for troubled star Owen Wilson. The National ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that the actor is drinking again after multiple attempts to stay sober in the wake of his 2007 suicide bid.

The 45-year-old star was spotted boozing at three Hollywood nightspots on Aug. 15, according to multiple ENQUIRER sources.

Wilson joined pals at Rock & Reilly’s Irish Pub, then hit a concert and finished up at the hot spot Hyde, sources say. Photographers snapped the star looking rough as he slipped out of Rock & Reilly’s back door and into his luxury car.

“He arrived with a buddy and met up with a couple other friends who were already inside the bar,” said a source, adding that Wilson “sipped on vodka sodas.”

The actor has been in rehab at least twice, once at Promises in Malibu, and also at Hazelden in Minnesota. He’s also attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and been aided by a sober coach, according to published reports.

As The ENQUIRER was first to reveal, Wilson was rushed to the hospital in Santa Monica, Calif., Aug. 26, 2007, after swallowing a fistful of prescription pills and cutting his wrists in a suicide bid.

By early 2008, as The ENQUIRER also reported, Wilson was boozing again, and friends feared it could trigger another suicide attempt.

When asked about the star’s latest brush with the bottle, a rep insisted: “He was (at Rock & Reilly’s) for 10 minutes on the way to a concert and had a drink prior to leaving with the friend,” said the spokesperson, adding: “He is not an alcoholic.”
