Miranda Lambert wants someone new in her life, but isn’t looking to tie the knot — she wants a baby!
The country beauty, recently divorced from superstar Blake Shelton, is feeling serious maternal urges, according to a longtime friend — who also revealed the secret behind the country couple’s split!
“Miranda’s aching to be a mom and it was Blake’s refusal that ultimately tore them apart,” said the pal, who refuted nasty whispers accusing Miranda of dragging the pair apart because she wasn’t ready to start a family with notoriously boozy womanizer Blake.
With bad boy Blake out of her life — and very publicly hooking up with his “The Voice” fellow coach Gwen Stefani — Miranda can finally focus on becoming a mother, and she’s determined to do it anyway she can — with a donor or adoption, according to the friend.
Miranda, whose hits include an album called “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” is completely gaga with the idea of being a mom, and admires the Hollywood stars who have gone the solo route to motherhood.
“Now she’s her own master, and she’s inspired by Charlize Theron and Sandra Bullock in a big way,” added the spy.
While 32-year-old Miranda “wants to explore the process very seriously,” she’s also considering carrying a baby herself.
But that means finding the right man — and while Miranda is dating again, no major sparks have flown for the fiery “Kerosene” singer.
Complicating things is the fact that Miranda has had to cope with her ex-husband making headlines with pop princess Gwen.
“Blake seems happier than ever with Gwen,” an insider said.
It also can’t help that rumors about Blake and Gwen were swirling BEFORE the country pair split.
But now Miranda is determined to put Blake behind her and become a pistol-packin’ mama — by any means necessary!
“Miranda’s not ruling out finding a donor, but she knows it can take years so she wants to have all options available,” said her friend, “and the sooner the better.”
