MIKE TYSON ON BOOZE BATTLE: SAYS HE’S FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE!

MIKE TYSON

MIKE TYSON is coming clean about his addiction to alcohol and admits he fears for his life.

"I'm on the verge of dying because I'm a vicious alcoholic," Tyson said at a recent press conference. "I've been lying to everybody else that thinks I was sober, but I'm not."

He further explained his agony in an interview Thursday with Today's MATT LAUER. "I won't survive if I don't get help."

Tyson says he is 12 days sober, but tells Lauer, "It's hard for me to live normal. Straight is hard. Livin' straight life is hard."

The boxing champ is hopeful though. At the press conference he said, "I want to change my life, I want to live a different life now," he said at the time. "I want to live my sober life. I don't want to die."
