Smallville's Supergirl – a very naked LAURA VANDERVOORT — wet AND wild in stunning new attack on aquatic habitat.
Laura Vandervoort, 29, strips off and floats in a small tank in this new ad for animal rights' group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
No stranger to playing oddities, Laura who starred as Supergirl on the CW's "Smallville", an alien hottie on “V” and is now raising caine as a werewolf on the Syfy series “Bitten”, poses next to a sign that reads “Welcome to Seaworld.”
PETA claims that SeaWorld mistreats its animals.
"We wanted to express the confinement and the torture and the agony and the anxiety that the orcas go through in a tank, for them, the size of a tub," Vandervoort said.
Yet, her pose is highly evocative of the classic Marilyn Monroe nude calendar.
The ad reads: "Come see Laura as she's confined to a tiny tank and forced to perform tricks for your entertainment!"
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…mermaid!
