Country music legend MERLE HAGGARD hospitalized in Georgia with mystery illness.
Merle’s concert Mike Blackwell confirmed that tonight’s concert in Columbus, Ga., has been deep-sixed after the 74-year-old superstar was hospitalized in Macon because of an undisclosed illness.
Tour manager Frank Mull says that Tuesday's show at the Macon City Auditorium was abruptly canceled – a mere seven minutes before Merle was set to take the stage.
Mull told AP that Merle had been ailin’ since leaving home in California last week.
It is unclear whether Merle is still in the Macon hospital or WHY.
Let’s hope he’s better as he’s due in Paducah, Kentucky on Thursday.
