ELIN NORDEGREN has moved on from a Tiger to a Shark! The 32-year-old blonde beauty – who divorced cheating golfer Tiger Woods in 2010 – is romancing San Jose Sharks hockey player Douglas Murray while spending the summer with her family in Sweden, sources say.
“Tiger is definitely not happy about it,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “He’s livid that Elin is seeing another man while she has HIS kids over there.”
Tiger’s tots – daughter Sam, 5, and son Charlie, 3 – was recently spotted snuggling with the burly 32-year-old hockey star at the Rose Nightclub in Stockholm.
While the sexy pair sparked sharp interest, Murray – who’s 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds – told the Swedish press: “We are only friends. We are not dating.”
But Tiger’s not buying it, and neither is a source close to Elin, who told The ENQUIRER: “Elin is having a ball with Doug. She’s really into his gruff macho-man image and the fact that he’s Swedish.”
Murray was born in Bromma, Sweden, and played on the Swedish hockey team in the 2010 Winter Olympics.
In 2008, the never-married bachelor signed a $10 million, four-year contract with the Sharks. Known as a rough player, he knocked a Russian rival out of an international 2008 game with a severe concussion.
He’s the first guy to catch Elin’s eye since her split from wealthy businessman Jamie Dingman earlier this year.
“Several older men have been making plays for Elin, but she prefers younger guys,” said the source.
“She’d like to move back to Sweden permanently, but she has primary custody of the kids and is afraid Tiger would try to get custody if she did.
“Elin’s parents are happy that she’s seeing Doug. They never approved of Tiger and always wanted her to find a Swedish husband.”
