LEE HARVEY OSWALD COFFIN ON AUCTION BLOCK

description

The alleged killer of JFK, LEE HARVEY OSWALD‘s coffin, is up for grabs if you’re into uber-creepy Presidential memorabilia!

The original coffin in which  Oswald was lain to rest goes before the auctioneer’s gavel Dec. 16.  Bidding starts  at $1,000.

Experts say it will no doubt go much higher.

Oswald was arrested by Dallas cops approximately an hour after President Kennedy was gunned down Nov. 22, 1963.

He was shot by Jack Ruby two days later while being transported himself and was never brought to trial.

Oswald was buried in this newly collectible until 1981, when his widow dug him up because of a legal battle with his brother.

He has since been reburied in a newer coffin.

The BBC reports that the LA auction also includes embalming instruments used on Oswald and his death certificate.

A section of the seat from the convertible Kennedy was riding in when shot will also be auctioned off.
