That’s the one detail that Laverne is determined to keep to herself — and new beau Jono Freedrix!

The National ENQUIRER caught Laverne being very openly affectionate with the production company president at the 22nd Annual SAG Awards.
But she’s not so open about the extent of her surgery!
“The preoccupation with transition and surgery objectifies trans people,” said Laverne, “and then we don’t get to really deal with the real lived experiences.”

That means Laverne isn’t saying whether or not she’s undergone a full surgical transition into womanhood — and even reporters like Katie Couric have taken heat for asking for details.
Laverne has been a little more outspoken about other surgeries that she definitely hasn’t had, though.”Years ago,” she said, “I wanted really highly invasive surgical procedures to feminize my face.
“All these years later, I have to do it — but I don’t want it!
“I’m happy that this is the face that God gave me, and it’s imperfect.”
As for the perfection of Laverne’s more intimate part — that looks to be a secret that only she (and Jono) know for sure!
