The 1990s cult series “Twin Peaks” is set for a reboot, but original star Lara Flynn Boyle hasn’t been invited to the party, and she’s panicking!
“Lara heard that some of her co-stars, including Kyle MacLachlan and Sherilyn Fenn, have been contacted about rejoining the cast, but she hasn’t heard a word,” a close friend exclusively tells The National ENQUIRER.
“She really wants to return. She desperately needs the career boost.”
Lara, 44, was just 19 when she was cast in the role of Donna Hayward.
But she reportedly clashed with the show’s producers, David Lynch and Mark Frost.
Still, a source says Lara may appear in the “Peaks” reboot.
“David and Mark have some bad memories of working with Lara, but I still think their plan is to bring her back on the new series.
"They just seem to want to make her sweat a little.”
