Khloé Kardashian admits on today’s “Kocktails With Khloé” that she benched NBA star James Harden weeks ago because he cheated on her when they were supposed to be monogamous.
“He sought me out; he wanted to be committed,” Khloé explains. “Then [he] wasn’t committed.”
The 31-year-old, who also stars in “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” notes that originally she was reluctant to commit to an exclusive arrangement — and even told the pro athlete that there was “no need” for them to be committed. She was trying to be realistic about living in Los Angeles while he hangs in Houston, where he plays for the Rockets.
But James’ full-court press convinced her to make the commitment to monogamy and she began dating the All-Star guard last July.
“I was, like, ‘Great, this guy’s in it for the long haul, let’s do it!’” she said. Then she “found out he wasn’t.”
Though frequently the target of breakup rumors, the couple stayed together quite a while — even as Khloé nursed her estranged husband, former NBA star Lamar Odom, back to health after he flamed out in a Nevada brothel following a four-day drugs-and-hookers binge in October.
James and Khloé shared a New Year’s Eve kiss at a Houston nightclub, but things fizzled shortly after that.
Khloé does not detail the baller’s supposed infidelities on her show, but insists she has “the receipts to prove it.”
Has she investigated Houston-area accounting offices?
But perhaps Khloé shouldn’t be surprised that James’ eye wandered. After all, he wasn’t named NBA Sixth Man of the Year because he doesn’t like substitutions! (Lamar won that same award, just a year earlier. Hmmm…)
