Yes, there have been persistent rumors of a love connection with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx as far back as August 2013, but Jamie has steadfastly insisted he and Katie are “just friends.”
So what is Katie looking for in a man — if she is indeed looking?
“I like down-to-earth people who work hard and are kind and good to their families,” Katie told “OK! UK” magazine. “A guy gets more or less handsome as you get to know him on the inside. It’s wonderful to be with someone who’s caring and understanding, and has a broad perspective.”

And what exactly does she mean by a “broad perspective”?
“Someone who’s very open-minded,” she explained. “Someone who has seen a lot of the world and wants to continue seeing more of it.”
The 37-year-old small-screen veteran of “Dawson’s Creek” — who totally took control of her career by directing her first big-screen movie, “All We Had,” last summer — did say she’s looking for one very specific thing out of a date:
“A lot of laughter, no matter where you are, or what you do.”
