The “Pretty Woman” star growled all the blame at husband Danny Moder for the recent disappearance of Brenna, the family’s beloved pet.
“Julia went ballistic when Danny told her their dog was missing,” a close source told The ENQUIRER.
“He tried to explain that the pooch must have gotten out through a gate that was left open, but Julia wasn’t having it. She loves that dog and blamed Danny for being careless.
“AS SOON AS THE KIDS FOUND OUT, all hell broke loose. The children started crying that Brenna was never coming home and that’s when Julia lost it.
“She shouted at Danny, ‘Now see what you’ve done!’”
The 44-year-old actress and cameraman Danny, 43, married in 2002. They have three children – 7-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and Henry, 4.
Fortunately, the disappearance of their playful black Labrador has a happy ending.
Brenna got a new leash on life when he was found wandering on the beach near the Oscar winner’s Malibu neighborhood.
“A neighbor found Brenna and called the number on her collar,” said the source. “Danny called back and made plans to pick up their pet.”
When Dad returned home, he not only was out of the doghouse – he received a hero’s welcome.
The kids were jumping up and down, hugging their dad and Brenna, who had been missing for a whole day.
Even Julia’s heart melted as she forgave Danny.
