Surf king JOSH BROLIN hit the curl FAST to save a drowning man.
Quick-thinking star Josh jumped into action when he spotted a struggling surfer while on vacation in Hawaii in late February.
The “Inherent Vice” actor, 47, was waiting to catch a wave when he noticed the distressed man facedown in the strong ocean current.
An action-packed video of the rescue – taken by a bystander and released in March – showed Josh immediately paddling out into the water on his surfboard to help.
Josh, who was spending his time off with his assistant-turned-girlfriend, Kathryn Boyd, got the scared swimmer to grab hold of the leash attached to his board and pulled them safely back to shore, where both men appeared to be fine. Hail, Josh!
