Former GOP Presidential candidate JOHN McCAIN in the fight of his life to save his Senate seat.
Humiliated by a loss to OBAMA and being second guessed by everyone on his selection of SARAH PALIN as his running mate, McCain is battling for his political life.
The four-term senator (that’s 16 years in politico dog years) is facing Rep J.D Hayworth that’s pushing J-Mac farther to the right than the centrist has ever been before!
McCain’s popularity in Arizona plummeted as he spent years wooing Americans outside of it yet J-Mac is the behemoth in the contest with millions of campaign funds and no less than six statewide campaign offices.
But the old soldier, 73, is battling a much younger radio host and ex rep. Hayworth, 51.
"There’s McCain fatigue in Arizona," Hayworth boldly declared.
But in a new series of ads McCain plays hardball with the truth – promising to stop the spending spree in Washington but fails to mention he voted for the Wall Street bailout.
McCain, who had co-sponsored a comprehensive immigration reform bill, once dismissed the effectiveness of building a border fence on the Arizona – Mexico border.
Now, he says, "Complete the danged fence!"
