HUDSON FAMILY KILLER TRIAL DATE

William Balfour arned Julia Hudson he would harm her family if she dated the other man, prosecutors claim.

Chicago judge tells the man charged with slaying JENNIFER HUDSON family members it’s time to face more than the music – time to face the jury.

Cook County Judge Charles Burns set jury selection for April 9 in the trial of William Balfour, who is  charged with first-degree murder in the October 2008 slayings of Hudson's mother, brother and nephew.

Balfour was the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson's sister, Julia.

Chicago prosecutors say Balfour shot her family in a jealous rage because Julia was seeing another man.

As The ENQUIRER previously reported the bodies of Darnell Hudson, 57,  and Jason Hudson, 29,  were found in the family's home on the city's South Side.

The body of Jennifer’s nephew, 7-year-old Julian King was discovered days later in a sport utility vehicle on the West Side of Chicago.

It was hoped Julian had been kidnapped.

No such luck.
