HULK RETURNS TO TV!

description

After two so-so movies THE HULK is returning to TV bringing to mind the classic BILL BIXBY-LOU FERRIGNO series!  Yet the BEST is yet to come!

Marvel/Disney which has been working to created a shared universe for the film franchises Iron Man, The Hulk, The Avengers and the Spider-Man reboot are thinking similarly for TV

The Hollywood Reporter says that Jeph Loeb, who helped launched Smallville in its frosh year,  has been working quietly with ABC TV execs to launch some power -packed Marvel action to the smaller screen.

As NationalENQUIRER.com  previously reported rival DC Entertainment/Warner Bros.’ relaunch of Wonder Woman as a Smallville TV replacement has spurred Marvel/Disney to turn up the heat.

First up – The return of The Incredible Hulk,  which previously aired CBS from 1978-82 and then featured one shot movies featuring low rent versions of Thor and Daredevil.

The recent film version with Ed Norton harkened back to the Bixby show in CGI dramaturgy.

The second hot property presented on a secret list in May is Cloak & Dagger.

 ABC suits are also mulling over:

Heroes for Hire (focusing on ex-con mercenary Luke Cage whumping baddies for a price);

The Eternals (a cabal of super-powered beings  hidden among humanity);

Ka-Zar (a Tarzan-type and his saber-tooth tiger fighting for justice in the stone and steel canyons of modernity);

AND a cable -TV version of The Punisher (who’s already starred in 3 feature films).  The character’s unrelenting penchant for gory ultra-violence makes him a natural in the age of hit series Dexter.
