While Hugh Jackman’s career has skyrocketed, his home life is inadvertently devolving into a tangled mess, sources exclusively told The National ENQUIRER.
The “Wolverine” star, 46, is having marital problems with his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, 58.
“Hugh won’t admit – and feels guilty for saying so – that sometimes he’s happier being off on a movie location instead of having to deal with any family drama back home,” an insider said.
Deborra-Lee often bears the brunt of parenting, especially when Hugh is shooting a movie. “She feels like she’s getting the short shrift from Hugh romantically because when he returns, their focus is on the kids and not themselves.”
So, to help rev up their love life, she’s turned to a female personal trainer to help whip her into super-sexy shape like her jacked-up hubby. “She’s expended a lot of sweat in the hope that Hugh will sit up and take notice. And motivate him to show his appreciation in the sack,” the insider revealed.
“Hugh loves his family and only wants the best for them,” the source added.
“But being away so much doesn’t sit well with Deborra-Lee. She desperately wants to make their marriage work and to dispel the rumors that they’re together for appearance’s sake and in name only.”
