Deal or No Deal host Howie stricken!
Toronto police said officers were summoned to a hotel with a report of a man with medical issues. That man was Mandel, 53, who has been hospitalized with an irregular heartbeat.
"Howie is in the hospital being monitored for an irregular heartbeat but doctors expect him to be released and back to work tomorrow," Mandel’s flack Lewis Kay confirmed said in a statement.
"He did not have a heart attack."
Mandel, a Toronto native has been hosting NBC gamer Deal or No Deal. His new prank show Howie Do It! preemed last week.
