Howie Mandel is battling a potentially deadly heart condition!
The 60-year-old “America’s Got Talent” judge has been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation — a dangerous heart arrhythmia.
“This is a major medical problem that can lead to a deadly stroke!” said New York City internist Dr. Stuart Fischer.
Both judges privately lobbied behind the scenes to have Howie dumped from the show, according to an “AGT” insider.
“That kind of anxiety can be dangerous for someone with this condition,” said Fischer.
Howie has undergone two procedures — electrical cardioversion and ablation — in an effort to restore a normal heartbeat.
“I had no idea I had it!” said the married father of three. “For many like me, it’s an invisible illness.”
