HILARY SWANK is moving to France for love – but pals fear she’s headed for heartbreak!
The two-time Oscar winner is so besotted with her hot new French boyfriend, real estate broker Laurent Fleury, she’s relocating to Paris – permanently! She’s even put her sprawling L.A. mansion up for sale!
But those close to the “Million Dollar Baby” star are deeply concerned she’s headed for romantic disaster like fellow actress Melissa Gilbert, who fell in love and was cruelly dumped by a handsome, conniving Frenchman in a matter of months.
“Hilary is so head over heels in love with Laurent she’s ready to settle down with him in Europe,” revealed a close source. “Her friends are extremely worried that things are moving too fast. They’ve warned Hilary to slow down.”
The actress, who was married to actor Chad Lowe for almost nine years, is already sharing an apartment with Laurent in the City of Light.
“And now she’s asking $9.5 million for her Pacific Palisades mansion,” divulged the source.
As The ENQUIRER revealed earlier this year, Hilary’s six-year relationship with agent John Campisi, 45, fell apart in May. The 38-year-old star desperately wanted to get pregnant, but John already has a 9-year-old son and wasn’t keen on becoming a father again.
Insiders warn that the same scenario could play out with Laurent, a dad of two, who wants to stay in Paris to be close to his kids.
“It’s a recipe for romantic disaster,” said the source. “Hilary’s pals are pleading with her to proceed with caution.”
