Harvey Korman, comedic genius of The Carol Burnett Show and Blazing Saddles is dead at 81.
After several major operations Korman died at UCLA Medical Center after the rupture of an aortic aneurysm.
"A world without Harvey Korman – it’s a more serious world," Mel Brooks said. "It was very dangerous for me to work with him because if our eyes met we’d crash to floor in comic ecstasy."
Carol Burnett is devastaed by the loss of her good friend and comic cohort.
"She loved Harvey very much," assistant Angie Horejsi stated.
Daughter Kate Korman reaveled, "He fought until the very end.
" He didn’t want to die. "
