Don’t yield, back S.H.I.E.L.D. as "The AVENGERS" main man Nick Fury SAMUEL L. JACKSON ignites TWITTER WAR!
The iconic king of modern day cool, Samuel L., took more than umbrage at the lone wolf critic voicing dissent of the star studded action epic. Jackson let fly a Tweet that cyber-pummeled New York Times film critic A.O. Scott with a 140 character jab after Scott gave the Marvel-ous film a dismal review.
"#Avengers fans, NY Times critic AO Scott needs a new job! Let's help him find one! One he can ACTUALLY do!" Jackson Tweeted.
The Hollywood Reporter said that Scott is kinda isolated in his nay say viewpoint as The Avengers has garnered a stellar 93 percent fresh rating on aggregator Rotten Tomatoes and is kicking butt overseas.
Ironically, the NY Times just concluded an epic puff piece on Jackson’s lengthy career.
In the Twitterverse, A.O. Scott’s only response thus far to Jackson’s fury is to retweet Samuel L.'s rip.
In the country of the blind, the eye-patched man remains the king of cool.
