Scruffy Kevin Costner may be cleaning up with a hefty pay hike for season five of Yellowstone, but behind the scenes sources snitch he’s happy being a rank rancher — and his stinky ways are making his much younger wife turn up her nose!
The twice-married Waterworld hunk, 67, got hitched to Christine Baumgartner, 48, more than 17 years ago. But tipsters say the glamorous former model is finally at the end of her rope when it comes to her sloppy hubby’s hygiene!
“He’ll put on a tux for an event, but he’s more comfortable in the same old jeans and flannel shirt he’s worn around the house for years,” spills an insider.
While Kevin’s rep denies our story, the source shares, “Between acting gigs, he doesn’t even shave most days — let alone wear deodorant. Christine has had it! She wants him to shower and wash that hair and put on clean clothes for a change.”
As The National ENQUIRER reported, sources claim Kevin is riding tall after renegotiating his contract for Paramount TV’s popular Yellowstone. But spies say before the Western starts shooting again in May, Kevin has a hankering to hunker down at his 160-acre Colorado ranch, while Christine wants to stay put at their beachfront digs in California.
“They’ve been spending the majority of their downtime during the pandemic at their house in Carpinteria, but he wants to get back to nature and his duck hunting,” dishes the source.
“She’s fighting him on this and wants to spend these precious few months they have in California before he reports to work on ‘Yellowstone.’ ”
