PREGNANT Megan Fox has a growing problem – her hubby Brian Austin Green’s outrageous spending habits. And the “Transformers” beauty has ordered him to get a grip on it!
While Megan, 27, focuses on motherhood more than career, former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Green, 40, has squandered big bucks on luxury items ranging from expensive designer watches to leasing private luxury jets, according to a source.
“It should be the happiest time of Megan’s life, but she is definitely worried about their finances,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
Megan, now five months pregnant with the couple’s second child, is the family’s main breadwinner and suddenly struggling to balance the household budget, the insider adds.
“Megan is constantly complaining about costs for the upkeep for their house, from landscapers and nannies to maids and pool cleaners,” the source explained. “A lot of people may not relate to a Hollywood star’s strained finances, but Megan is genuinely worried that she and Brian are living beyond their means.”
Adding to the strain, Green is also on the hook for expensive monthly child support payments to Vanessa Marcil, the mother of his first child. He also recently lost a lawsuit against Marcil in which he sought the return of what he claimed were $200,000 in unpaid loans.
Although Megan is believed to be earning $7 million for starring in the next “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie, the source says much of her fee is being linked to the film’s success and won’t be paid until its release next August. And Brian’s career has been only in small TV roles.
