Despite an apology PAULA DEEN has been fired by the Food Network after a bombshell ENQUIRER world exclusive revealed her racist tendencies in a court room depo.
After we first revealed the Paula Deen racist confession, shockwaves went worldwide with #PaulaBestDishes topping Twitter Trends as Deen became the butt of deep-fried jokes on late nite TV.
Earlier today The ENQUIRER reported Deen had backed out of a scheduled “mea culpa” Today Show appearance.
Paula, who admitted using racial slurs during a videotaped deposition in a lawsuit filed by an ex-employee Lisa Jackson who worked at Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House in Savannah, Ga., had flown to New York City and checked into a hotel.
After canceling her Today show appearance with Matt Lauer calling her out on national TV, Deen pleaded “exhaustion” via her rep.
Hours later, she issued her own abortive attempt at a video apology but it was too little too late.
And now, Deen’s goose is finally cooked as she’s been given the old heave-ho by the Food Network.
