FEC approves STEPHEN COLBERT’s request for a SUPERPAC allowing him to throw his “truthy” weight around in the 2012 Presidential Elections!

"You may form your SuperPAC and proceed," The Federal Election Commission panel told Colbert.

The Comedy Central political satirist  appeared before the commission this morning.
Colbert was seeking to start a Political Action Committee (PAC) allowing him to raise unlimited amounts of money from corporations, union and wealthy individuals.

Initially denied by the Feds because of his TV show status, Colbert was advised by attorney Trevor Potter to submit a SuperPAC which supersedes the standard PAC process.

Colbert's SuperPAC slogan: "Making a better tomorrow, tomorrow." He tweeted PAC stands for "Plastic And/Or Cash."
