AFTER years of grieving, PATRICK SWAYZE’s widow LISA NIEMI finally found happiness with another man, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
The romance between 56-year-old Lisa and wealthy jeweler ALBERT DePRISCO, 57, is only a few months old, but it’s gotten so serious that Albert has introduced his new love to his parents.
The two have gone out on hot-and-heavy dates, and the smitten businessman has been showering Lisa with expensive jewelry.
“Lisa and Albert were introduced by a mutual friend at a California gathering late last spring,” revealed a source close to the couple. “From the moment they met, there was an attraction between them.”
After their very first date, lovestruck Albert told Lisa he didn’t want to leave her in California to return to his home near Boca Raton, Fla., said the source.
Lisa immediately replied: “Then please don’t leave.”
The delighted jeweler knew he’d found a gem of a girlfriend and ended up extending his stay.
“Since then the relationship has continued to get more and more serious,” said the source.
Lisa and Albert have been commuting across country as often as possible to spend time together. Just like her late husband Patrick, Lisa is a pilot. And she’s put her skills to good use, flying her Beechcraft twin-engine plane into South Florida to stay with Albert on at least two occasions, most recently Sept. 26.
“Albert was waiting for Lisa with open arms when she landed her plane at the Boca Raton Airport,” disclosed an eyewitness. “She got out of the plane, fell into his arms, and they shared a long, steamy kiss.
“Albert carried Lisa’s bags to his Maserati, and then he drove her to his beachfront penthouse in nearby Deerfield Beach.
“They spent the next few days taking romantic drives along the beach, dining out in some of Boca Raton’s ritziest restaurants and enjoying visits with Albert’s friends and family.
“One morning Albert dropped off Lisa at a yoga studio. Then after he returned to pick her up, they met his parents for lunch at Ruby Tuesdays in an upscale shopping area.
“Both of Albert’s parents really seemed to take a shine to Lisa. The four of them spent the afternoon at lunch, chatting and laughing. Before leaving, Albert’s parents hugged Lisa goodbye.
“It’s clear they’re both very taken with her.”
Albert’s parents, Francis and Marie DePrisco, started Boston’s noted DePrisco Jewelers in 1948, and now Albert and his elder sister Donna run the family business, which includes stores in Massachusetts and South Florida.
“Albert is very generous and has given Lisa some expensive jewelry from his family’s shops,” said the close source. “Lisa is very impressed, and her affection for him is obvious.”
Lisa has come a long way since being devastated by her handsome husband’s death from pancreatic cancer on Sept. 14, 2009.
She’d been married to the 57-year-old “Ghost” and “Dirty Dancing” actor for 34 loving years.
About six months after the performer lost his long, courageous battle, a still-brokenhearted Lisa indicated she hadn’t ruled out finding love again someday.
